Have Fun In Uk Casinos
By Suresh Nair
Have you ever been in a casino and had very little success until right before you were scheduled to leave? When I used to more with other people than by myself, this seemed to happen to me each and every time that I visited a casino. Finally, after feeling like I left too much money on the table, I came up with an alternative. I normally alone to casino destinations or at least by different means of transportation. If I’m traveling with others, I tell them to leave me if I’m not ready to go. And guess what? I’ve been left behind several times.

In the past, I was left behind in minor situations. Once in Las Vegas, I was left at the Westward Ho because after hours of nothing substantial in winnings, I found a blackjack table where I had one of the best runs I’d ever experienced. My husband came up and said he was ready to leave and I begged him to wait a little before calling it a night but he refused , clearly tired from a day of traveling through airports. He decided to give me a few extra minutes and returned a half hour later and still couldn’t convince me to leave, so he left me. Three thousand dollars later (after a buy in of a few hundred dollars),
I was ecstatic and decide to walk off my energy and return to where we were staying which was at the Frontier. It never dawned on me that this might be dangerous late at night in Las Vegas,. And I’m sure no one could tell that I’d won anything as I skipped down the strip!

This was one of several times that friends and family would leave me in casinos and it became the running joke when we would try to make dinner plans or plans for shows that the only show that we could count on is that I might not show. Years later , it became obvious when I developed a love for craps that inevitably I would be left behind to fly home or rent a car if I wasn’t ready to leave when everyone else was ready to get out of the casino and leave it all behind. At first, it bothered me and then I came up with a viable solution, don’t go gambling with your friends or family and if you do, separately. And that’s what

we do.

My husband still travels with me some but he has more patience than anyone I know and tolerates me when I get on a roll at the last minute. However, we work out a deal and if I make him wait, then we split the take! And I’ll admit when traveling with my husband I have more fun doing non-casino activities. We can golf, go to shows and I don’t have to dine or shop alone. Still, I must confess that the most fun in a casino anyone can have is when they don’t have to worry about a time schedule. It’s easier to adhere to your own schedule when you’re gambling than to try to follow someone else’s plans.

If you are thinking about taking a few days and getting away to a casino destination, I highly recommend going alone sometime. However, if you end up traveling with a companion and find yourself on a hot table right before your scheduled departure don’t worry about a thing, simply tell your companions to leave you alone, you’re on a long awaited roll! And take it from me, sometimes its worth being left behind!
